Inquiry Share Day

On Wednesday the Year 5/6 syndicate had their inquiry share to show parents what has been happening in the classrooms this term. Reeya and Hayden were on the job  taking photos.

Grace presented her inquiry as a speech. She made a brilliant job of it and had learnt it completely off by heart. Well done Grace.

Mini Marty visits Room 13

Mini Marty dropped by to visit us at the end of Term 1. It will be interesting to see what he gets up to in the holidays! He has already been picked up by Te Ngutu Kura's dog and taken for a run!

Raising Money for Vanuatu

Rata and her mum initiated the idea of selling cards to fund raise for the people of Vanuatu after their islands were hit by Cyclone Pam. The girls in the Year 5/6 syndicate made all the cards and sold them at our inquiry share on Wednesday. Congratulations to all the girls for the initiative. They raised $133. Thanks also to Rata's and Evie's mums, Sally and Jayne, who supported the girls.
