Advent Calendar

Thank you Poppy, Paris and Avah for your kind and thoughtful comments. Avah, your letter was really well written, Poppy, you had given your letter a lot of thought and consideration about what you wanted to say. I liked that. Paris, you were the same. You had really thought about what you wanted to say too.
These photos show that there is a little more happening in our household now. at least the dogs are up and active.

Happenings at the Burgess house

Obviously not a lot going on if Fritz and lily are anything to go by!

Have a wonderful weekend Room 13

Well one week to go. My goodness those holidays are looming large and did you know there are seven weeks holidays these holidays. I opened your letter and poem Olivia and thought wow how infectious is your enthusiasm. Your letter made me instantly feel positive and smiling inside.  Maddison, your letter was very specific about what you liked this year and I'm pleased to see camp was one of your highlights. I liked your letter because you noticed all the little things that have happened this year that you and I have worked on.  You have come a long way this year, keep up the good work next year.
Last but certainly not least, Lewis. What can I say. You are the happy, upbeat person who is always trying to crack funny jokes or say funny things.  You really helped to keep the tone of our class upbeat.

Good morning Room 13

I love opening your letters each day. Brendon, your non stop talking comment was so typically you, Alex, your art work was so like you, creative and funny. Lucy, I knew it was yours before I even opened it because it had a horse on the envelope! What a lovely poem and letter and yes everything is going well.

Jaden, surely the next one was you. The permission slip was the clue. Let me know if it was or wasn't. Get Mrs Young to email me.
Nguts, It was really good to see you had some funny memories of this year, particularly camp. Great writing Nguts very impressive.

Inquiry Share

Congratulations to all students on a magnificent effort with their inquiry work.  You could talk about your ecosystem, the creatures that lived in it, food webs and life cycles.  Your information was presented in a bright and ordered way.  Photos will be uploaded on Monday.

Thank You

A big thank you to all parents who came on our environmental trips. We hope you enjoyed them as much as us. Your help is always appreciated and the children know that our trips wouldn't be happening if you didn't come.
